Green and black tea have more health benefits than their known soothing effect. Several compounds of these leaf plants have already been studied in numerous studies, with the result that actually positive effects on health, from mental state to cancer, have been demonstrated.
Of course, tea is not a cure-all and its benefits are probably rather low. However, there are few drawbacks when it comes to drinking tea – it is rarely harmful to health (except, of course, when drunk in superhuman amounts). Tea acts positively on the brain and body.
